1. What is L'Aura Perfumery?  

We have developed this policy because we want you to feel confident about the privacy and security of your personal information. L'Aura Perfumery takes all reasonable care to prevent any unauthorised access to your personal information.

When we refer to "personal information" in this Privacy Policy, we mean information which identifies you as an individual, or is capable of doing so.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By visiting our website or using any of our services and continuing to do so you indicate your agreement to our use of your personal information as set out in this Privacy Policy.



2. Is it easy to buy through L'Aura Perfumery?  

Yes - simply click on the product you wish to buy. Then click the "add to basket" button. You can then proceed to the checkout where you will be asked to provide delivery details before being forwarded to a secure server where your credit card details will be taken. It's that easy. Various search and browse facilities are available at our online store with searching via the main department buttons, or the search for a brand drop down list or the item search facility.



3. Can I order by post?  


No, we are very sorry but we are unable to accept orders by post or cheque payments by post. We can take telephone or internet payments via the HSBC Secure Epayments facility.


4. Can I order by telephone?  


Sorry but we are generally unable to process orders by telephone.


5. Which credit and debit cards do you accept?  

We accept: Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Access, Solo and Maestro. If in any doubt about your payment card, please email us: info@lauraperfumery.co.uk


6. How do I know your products are genuine?  

L'Aura Perfumery only sells genuine products. We are authorised and approved distributors and stockists of most major perfume houses and designer labels.


7. What if I can't find what I am looking for?  

Please feel free to contact us by email (info@lauraperfumery.co.uk) or telephone (01462 676880) and we may be able to advise you of a suitable alternative.


8. Which areas do you deliver to?  

We delivery throughout the UK but do not deliver to Europe and the Rest of the World.


9. How will products be delivered?  

All items will be posted by Royal Mail 1st. Class Recorded Delivery.


10. When will my goods be delivered?  

Orders received in the morning of a working day will be despatched later the same day. Orders received during the afternoon or evening will despatched the following day. All items will be posted by Royal Mail 1st. Class Recorded Delivery and should be delivered the day after posting or the following day. Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for delays caused by the postal service and customers should allow extra time for posting especially at Christmas when the Royal Mail can take over a week to deliver first class items.


11. How much does delivery cost?  

For simplicity, there is one postage rate per item of £2.95 for Royal Mail 1st. Class Recorded Delivery which applies regardless of the weight and size of the item. We cannot send items by different postage rates such as second class.


12. What do I do if I am not satisfied with the product?  

If you are unhappy with the goods you have purchased, you have seven working days from the day you receive the item/s to let us know in writing either by email to: info@lauraperfumery.co.uk or letter addressed to: L'Aura Perfumery, 9 Arena Parade, Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire SG6 3BY giving your name, address, telephone number, order number and reason for return of item, or details of the item which is to be exchanged. Then simply return the item/s to us and we will reimburse you the money you have paid (less shipping charges) within seven days of receiving your returned item. (For further details, see our Terms and Conditions).

Unfortunately, we cannot give refunds for items where the product packaging has been opened, any seals have been broken or the product has been used, unless the product is faulty.


13. Do you offer a guarantee?  

All products are warranted free from defects at the date of supply. This does not affect your statutory rights.


14. Are L'Aura Perfumery's ordering and payment systems secure?
 


When you make a purchase using a credit or debit card through the L'Aura Perfumery website, we never receive, have any sight of, or store your card details - these are given by you solely to our payment partners HSBC and PayPal.

PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential payment information in transit from your computer to theirs using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available).

15. Will you pass my details to any third party?  

We do not share your personal information with other companies. However, we may provide information, in response to properly made requests, for the purposes of the prevention and detection of crime, and the apprehension or prosecution of offenders. We may also provide information for the purpose of safeguarding national security. In either case we do so in accordance with the Data Protection Act. We also provide information when required to do so by law, for example under a court order, or in response to properly made demands, under powers contained in legislation.
